Asterix & Obelix: Kick Buttix

Hello! I just found this cool PS2 game, Asterix & Obelix: Kick Buttix, and am really enjoying it. But the game has locked up on me now three times at the part where you light the greek fire barrel at the bottom of a mountain and that barrel sets off a string of barrels that goes up the side of a rock face and around.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Apparently there are other Asterix games as well. I intend to look for them!

I am wondering if it isn't the new "slimline" PS2. I will try it on the old PS2 and see if it works. Seems to snag on the third of the barrels. If it is the new PS2 (or, if it works on the old one) I will report that.

i heard some more problems with that one, not this game but other things. but give it a try:tup:

The freezing problem went away when I did a new save, and the senior guy at the gamestore I go to says the new little PS2s are fine. Just posting this here in case someone searches for Asterix.
