Need some help with this, recently bought the deluxe edition of Neverwinter Nights which included the Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark. Installed all three ok but got problem when attempting to play. Requested CD Key for HotU which entered but when clicked on OK, the entry boxes cleared and nothing happened. Tried a few times but no good, uninstalled the lot and re-installed but same problem.
Have posted this problem on a few forums but, as yet, no solution has appeared.
Has anyone else had this problem? Has anyone got a solution?
This is really teeing me off! :madred:

Is the CD key printed using that nasty font Atari developers sometimes use, where it turns out that a "B" is actually a "6"? Have a REALLY close look at the CD key and try again - if it still don't work, get on to the tech support listed in the product packaging.

No, for once the characters in the CD Key are distinguishable, also it was required for the installation and it accepted it then.

Followed links from the NWN web site to Atari UK (for support) and have e-mailed their helpline, as yet have received no response.
Hopefully they can come up with a solution, in which case I will post it here.

Cheers

I had the same problem as you its easaly remedy't by erasing evrything

installing only neverwinter night open it once so that the game loads
update it

instal one of the adon packs load the game
update the game

then instal the last adon load the game and it shoudl work maybe you need to update before that

anyway thats tho only way it worked for me ant I tried evrything this was the solution on a neverwinternights forum (very old one...?) anyway if that will not work you reaally need to recheck the the manual

sometimes you have more than one serial.. dunno how that works but I think it could be the seccond serial it asks for

I've recently bought a deluxe edition and found that the CD-Key on the sticker in the case is printed in a font that makes 'A' and 'R', 'O', '0' and 'D' indistinguishable. There are several instances of these letters, adding up to an inordinate number of combinations Imight have to try to successfully enter the key.

There is a '6', but it looks like a '6' rather than a 'B'... I think!

Does anyone have any advice about this? Evern to the point of indicating which font is used? I could probably then determine the correct letters...

By the way you will find the CD-Key on a sticker under the CD.
