Most games can be found as CD and DVD.
Only a few games are made only on DVD.

So, large chance that you will find this game on cd and dvd.

Otherwise... Buy a DVDrom drive :P

(downloading the game is NOT an option for this game :P)

i think i want to say that is a question of respect... but the dvd drive doesn't cost very expensive and it's very practical. :)

ya,right naw is a good time to buy some new parts.the prices droped pretty good...
and my opinion,I just hate DVD DRIVE.I got one,but the problam is taht it's harder to back-up thos DVD disces(you needa DVD-R drive)and one little scratch on tham, and BAM!
the disc is not useble anymore.I prefer the PC-CD

is the 9800 direct x compatable? (by that I mean fully compatable?) cause I looked at a couple others and they werent, and I figured I might as well get one that was

do you have just 9800 or the...9800 pro?

Dont even bother with a 9550, u need alteast 9800 pro for this game.
9550 is not even a mid range card..its just a cheap card..9800 pro isnt even mid range anymore..however its a very solid car, fully direct X cpmtatible (directX 9) and is more then enogh for this game imo.

yeah, but I dont have $350 to spend for a really good card thats the problem, if I had more money I wouldnt hesitate to get one of these sweet ones that runs like everything

DANGIT! DVD only, well atleast thanks for giving me the heads up that gives you 1 point over EA :)

Guess I gotta get a dvd drive in here.

May I ask if anyone knows the production cost differences in using multiple cd's in a multi jewel case versus one case and a dvd?

Jewel Case vs DVD case?

In my country (Holland) are almost all games in a DVD case. Games like Farcry, UT2004 and the Sims 2 are all on CD-rom but packed in a DVD case.

I must add that it is strange to put 5 (!) CD discs in 1 DVD case. :S

Anyway, thnx for the info, DVD is easier in use :) I hate changing discs for 'just' an install.
