He told me he was banned because the countdown on his compuer reached 18 mins, then zero, and then reset to 24 hours again.
Presumably he was a little upset, and made a post with a few "rude" words, god forbid, which must have upset the sensetive admins.

This is a games forum, and is read by children. Maces post was a torrent of abusive language - I deleted it and banned him. There is no excuse for that level of obscenity, and I am not prepared to have to clean up all his posts for him. I may remind people to watch their language after the odd swear word, but when the whole post is 50% obscenities, you've blown it.

Anyway he also said he doesnt want a dragged out fight, but is willing to agree to disagree, and he admires your strong prolonged, a little outdated, fight agasint the "machine" that is consumerism.

The arguement that kids are only going to hear that stuff elsewhere is completely irrelevant and only some kind of idiot would make it.

The point is, they're not going to hear it here.

This has nothing to do with capitalism or consumerism or wishing it was the 50s. It has everything to do with Atari not wanting to get sued by an angry parent of a child who saw the "F" word on their forum.

I think he got banned cause he has no life...

He`s acting like an ten year old child cause of an Demo.

Sure - if i wait for an Demo for long and hope it will come out the next hours (like said on the mainpage) then its an disappointment if its not that way...

But thats all no argument for blaming and writing things he did. If hes not abel to watch his language the whole board will become an blaming and flaming Area. The Admins did right here.

Discussion - even if the Arguments are as different as possible should be done with respect...

The only thing i wonder about is why the Admins dont tell us when the Demo will definatly be released. The Counter often got resetted. Thats for sure not that well. If they support the game after release like that i dont see any arguments to buy this one..

They should simply tell when it will be released.

I would pester Eugen for confirmation details if I were you - Atari will only know what Eugen tell them, which could easily have been flannel.
