Technical Problem!

After drooling over Act of War for many weeks and constantly checking the forums, I finally have to register because of a problem.

Randomly in-game, the screen flashes black for a split second and seems to increase in frequency with more activity. I *THINK* it started about the time the first few VTOL aircraft came in. Now, this really disturbs me because of the simple fact that I'm running a Radeon X800 which cost me $400. EEK! Any tips?

EDIT: After turning shadows to low I stopped the problem, but what a bummer that is :(

You make it sound like its a bad think to come here:lolblue: I too had this problem. A simple reboot, with out needing to edit any settings will solve this.

I hade the same problem with my ATI 9800 PRO card. When I turned anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering off in the ATI control center, the flashing stopped.
