Hi. Since buyin RTC3 ive only had one chance to actually get into the game and play it.
First problem: When i start the game up normally i get the message "nv4_disp display driver has stopped working normally". Then it turns my windows into some hardcore safe mode type thing with a poo resolution and i cant do anything on it.
Ok I downloaded the first patch... this time i got into the game but it was slowwwww. And then the above crash happened.
Ok they bought out a second patch. I thought this was gonna be the one, but it brought up a whole new problem! When i go to start RTC3 up it says "RTC3 has encountered a problem and needs to close" and has the message that it normally does.
I tried goin into the game on the autostart on the disc, and that worked for a bit. It was braindamagingly slow, but it worked. I managed to play the game through 2 tutorials (in the actual game it was a reasonable speed, but the menus it was soooo slow). Then.... i got the notorious nv4_disp crash again. Oh dear.
Can anyone help me? I wouldnt say I have a poor system that im runnin the game on... spend enough bloody money over the years on it!
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3200+, 2.00Ghz
1024mb RAM
GeForce FX 5950 Ultra
Soundblaster Live Audio [9000]
149Gig Hard Drive
Someone Please help me!
