NEVER pick up a peep!!! EVER !!
I know it’s fun tickling them end swinging them around at the end of your pincers, but i.m.o. it is not recommended. It seriously buggers around with their thought pattern and actions. In short it does not do anything you want to accomplish. (with the exception of getting a VIP into a themed area/ on a ride – sometimes – and cleaning paths with un-zoned handymen)
I was playing around on one of the scenarios last night – the one with the ‘Egyptian’ themeing – can’t remember the name.
I have a two peep group that I use to test the ride pictures and photo spots with. They were walking around in my park, doing nothing constructive. (Been in the park 40 minutes and only one has been on ‘snake helter skelter’) –sigh
Anyway, they were waiting for group and meeting with group 10 squares from each other by the entrance (that long winding path that comes down the mountain where a transport ride would be awesome – if only we had transport rides – sarcasm:rolleyes: )
I picked them up and placed them near the entrance to my newly build hyper Coaster. I was not expecting them to run of to the coaster immediately, but I was amazed at what happened.
They continued to “wait for group” – “meet with group” – standing on the SAME square facing each other-!!! For 30 seconds !!!!
NOT ONLY THAT !! they walked away (semi together) still “waiting for group” – “meeting with group”
GUESSE where ???? Right back to where I picked them up in the first place!! 100 miles away up a mountain you’ll need O2 for to climb in real life -- Still “waiting for group” – “meeting with group”
Once their the seemed to reset and turn around and go to the park again.
So I tested with other peep groups.
I need the toilet peeps – Picked up placed in front of toilets – result – met with group and then eventually found a toilet.
Heading to info stall -- picked up and placed by info – result -- wait for group – never went to info after meeting with group.
Same with rides / coaster. Wait for group – even if whole group was dropped at coaster.
I did not test with food and drinks as I think peeps kinda decide they would rather have a kebab than a hotdog etc. so too many variables – if someone wants to check – please do.
(i'm up for being proved wrong - that's how we all learn)
