CRASH...Do i want to send error report?

Hi all i was one of those fans of rct3 thinking how sad some peeps where acting, just because their game kept crashing, not working etc.

I can now put my self in their shoes. after loading the game worked fine, loaded fine, played fine, i was very pleased, did have some bugs...but after patch 2, keeps crashing after doing stuff in the game,
eg. The first one was when i had designed a wild west themed park, looked great was great, but of course i forgot to save it every so often, and with rct3 being so UNSTABLE it crashed and i lost all my work, that was caused by clicking on a boat ride... the last crash was when i right clicked a coasters exit booth! loose screen, and m/soft has found an error...blah blah blah... do i want to send report...
so im sorry to say, but thanks to the patch of dreams... :tdown:

Have you sent your error report to Frontier?

no its a microsoft one, not a frontier report. it brings up a box stating rct.exe has performed an illigal operation, and then send error report or not, buttons are at the bottom...

If it was better before the patch, cant you uninstall it, re-install it, and dont patch it?

(All your saves should still be ok.....:tup: )

the point is, i shouldnt have to uninstall it, and even if i was to how would i go about doing that?, sitting there and uninstaling the FULL game? and if i was to i would not have the new add on features, eg. syncronize all stalls...!

thanks for the advice, it has been working fine so far (only because ive given up on custom scenery things) simply because it is too precise and takes too long to keep saving game every so often...cheers anyway...rich

There is possibly a bug with the boat ride Hooch found HERE (http://www.uk.atari.com/third_party/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5884) - advice? - bit like the old 'it hurts when I do this - well don't do it then' (well not untill they bug fix this and the other couple of Roaches :D )

Agree custom scenery is a pain to place - but worth the patience take a peek at the US forum RCT3/ exchange or the ones posted on our own Post the best screenshot of your snadbox (http://www.uk.atari.com/third_party/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3955)

Saving reguarly is good practice in any tycoon game :D (lost too many long hours of work too often to do much else - esp in SimCity4 - now i am save game paranoid -pprobably why I need 2x 120gig HD's)
