No takers at all? Has nobody got a solution to my track importing problem?

Just to recap, when I click the button to search for tracks to import, RCT3 finds none, yet there are 135 RCT1 tracks on the HD.

Personally, I don't think it's even looking. RCT3 says that the search may take a minute or two to complete, and with a 40GB drive to search through it certainly should, yet it's only taking a fraction of a second to say "no tracks found".

How about the brutalist approach - can you just drag and drop the tracks from the source file to wherever it is that RCT3 stores them?

I like brutalist solutions:lightbulb

Sorry no - not from me anyways - I no longer have rct2 on my system and I gave rct1 (+expansions) to a friend. So idon't have anything to import. Not that I had many in the first place :)
I tend to only use a ride (coaster) once and build from fresh 99% of time - IMO diferent parks require diferent soloutions _ I even only tend use a pre-built to see how it works (especialy new types like the tilt)

Sorry :frownblue

However - shooting in the dark and taking Warspites suggestion a step further - (if your RCT2 directory is not technically close to rct3's i.e. diferent drive main directory etc., You couold try copyinig your ride directory from rct1/2 to somewhere inside the Atari directory rct 3 lives in.

Well, I've tried both of your suggestions and neither of them worked. :(

Any other ideas?
