When I use Internet Explorer 6.1 to gop on the atari forum I constanly geth SERVER BUSY message I can't do anythiung anymroe :madred: :madred: :madred: :madred: :madred: :madred:

on the other hand using firefox works perfectly :tup:

+ it has the advantage to block al images:rolleyesa now thats a nice feature :d



stil:weirdblue it needs to be fixed for the masses that don't know what firefox is so please I don't know who to pm about this

I've had this once over the last week, and that is all.

For the record I use konqueror browser (and big brownie points for anyone who knows what it is!). Seems strange that it works better in firefox, maybe it just has taste?

anyway tried on Opera and an old Netscape didn't work:frownblue to bat I like opera to and konqueror browser I have heard of it never ever used it though... :lightbulb

Personally I've never gotten on with Firefox/Firebird/whatever else they used to call it. I've noticed that it now has a 1.0 release though, so maybe I'll give it another go.

Used to use Opera, but gradually got hacked off with the adds and couldn't really justify paying for it, so I moved to Mozilla...

...which ran like a dog on my old pc, so switched to knoqueror, which is much nippier, probably due to the fact that I run KDE as my desktop in linux and konqueror is a KDE app. It has a few niggles but IMHO it's worth it for the integration.

anyway mozzila=firefox or rather Firefox=mozzila ... its just mozzila amplified and improved and you can run loads of handy aplication in it :p: like blocking adds and my personal favorite blocking sig of forum users:rolleyesa

Yeah I know that, it's just that basically I had Mozilla set up nice, and then tried firefox and was a bit dissapointed that it didn't pick up any of my options from mozilla, so i kinda gave up at that point.

I still use it occasionally to check that my website displays ok, but for everything else i use konqueror these days.

AAARGGG (....)ING SERVER BUSSY AGAIN, and the worst is that it updates my cookies so it says i have seen all post, while i actualy saw a DARN OVERLOAD MESSAGE!! :dark:
