2 Major probs

Have bought two copies of this game today, one for myself and one for my brother in order to network. It doesn't work on either of our computers!! we are both experiencing different problems. As for myself, the installation procedure locks up just at the stage where the intro video launches, I get a blue screen of death and a serious error message! I have the latest version of Windows Media Player, what can be the problem. On my brother's computer he has been experiencing the same problem that has been mentioned several times on this forum, the DVD drive can't find the disc in the drive and will not launch. We've tried going to System, Advanced etc. and checking the first box, it's already checked and still doesn't work! Please could we have some advice on where to move forward?

P.S. ( have installed latest drivers from Radeon CATALYST AND AMD Athlon 64 processor drivers!)

The game does not run on Win98 or WinME.
Only XP and 2000.

Yep, we both have XP! They are brand new systems bought (in my case) last 6 months (and brother's) last month!

Anyway solved the problem, put the info on another thread entitled SOLVED ONE

good news to you:

once you mange running the game on 1 PC you don't need neccessarily a 2nd copy of the game or the game runs without a dvd after checking the disc at the very beginning of the loading process!

so bring one back!
