Hi all,
I just need a bit of help. I'm not a techowhizz and am about as technological as a wooden spoon....I've recently had my computer partitioned, and every time I try and install RCT3 it doesn't like being saved onto my bigger drive (E drive), where there's more than enough space. Is there anything you can suggest???? Thanks!

right, first go into my computer and click the drive...does it open up so that you can lets say cut n paste stuff into it? is this E drive your slave drive?, (where your operating system is not installed on)... what did you format it in? ntfs i assume? or FAT...

answer these questions please, next... lol :bounce:

Thanks for the quick reply! I'll try and answer the above......in my language lol. I've clicked on the drive (which is the bigger bit) and all it contains is a folder called program files. I think my operating system is on my C drive but don't take that as gospel. As for it being formatted, I don't know because it was my friend who sorted out my PC for me....so he could've formatted it with a sledgehammer and I wouldn't know any different. Sorry I can't be more specific. When I've tried to install it, I've tried browsing and changing the drive to the E drive, but it's still not having any of it. Any more suggestions?
Thanks!

right open up drive E through my computer, if you look in it, and it is blank then come out of it, and right click it and select format, then then a box will apear, it will have button as folows...make sure yours is set to these...

Capacity - (the size of this drive in GB's)
File System - Set to NTFS
Alocation unit size - leave this
Volume label - Name this to something like, "Games and Music" or what ever you expect to use the drive for...

And make sure quick format is NOT selected,

then click START...

if it comes up with a message saying that "windows is using it" or something like that then leave it...as this means windows is installed on it.
