I brought the game on friday and insalled it but then when i tryed to play it, it just keeps coming up error actofwar.exe has encounterd a problem and has had to close HELP

Please read through the FAQ as well as the threads specific to different hardware. You will also need the latest patch. See the Act of War web site or use the FTP address from the FAQ.

I have microsoft xp
256mb of ram
Nivdia Geforce FX 5700le
and a celeron processor

1,5 minimum. (as far as I know, the celeron processors aren't very good.... but thats just what I've heard.)

A too slow CPU should not cause a crash (maybe a slow crash?).

Ups, he writes that AoW has encounter a problem. Thought he meant Windows. That what it normally tells you when the game crashes.

Still, game should not stop running when it detects a slow CPU. Users need to feel the speed of their system ...
