If you want to improve at Act of War, you need to learn from the best players around. By watching their replays you will learn VERY quickly what you are doing wrong.

Also, by submitting your replays for review you will be helped by expert players on how to get better. If you can't beat a hard comp without thinking then you need to get advice :)

Visit http://www.actofwar.org for great replays, strategy discussion, personalised replay reviews (from online play) and a great community.

Act of War needs to build the online community, so come and join the party :). Just released are THREE Shoutcasts where you can listen to expert commentary whilst watching replays. This is one of the quickest ways to learn how to play :).

I watched the first one. Interesting. Unfortunately the second one made my game crash - I tried three time. Don't know if you know about that at all? I'll definitely watch more of them though, already picked up a few things.

I'm assuming you have got the latest patch?

Without the latest patch, there is a higher chance is won't work properly. No one else has had issues as far as I know.

Check out the replays sections as well ;). ROTW = replay of the week :).

wow. In other threads I've been saying about being beaten by medium AI. After watching those replays I just beat medium AI on two different maps!

Great :), now beat a hard comp, you will find it easy now :). Then go online and play Act of War. The only way to get really good at rts is online vs humans, it's on another level compared to a computer :). Remember we have 100's of replays posted already!

Yay for replays! Its a great way to see what went wrong when you get beaten. Also check other ppl's replays to learn new or better tactics, build orders etc.
