38% Crash

I don't know whether this has anything to do with this problem but a few days ago I upgraded my memory form a single 512Mb 333MHz dimm’s to 2x 512Mb 400MHz dimm’s running in Duel channel mode. The first lot I bought were Kinston witch for some unknown reason crash the pc constantly in duel channel mode but in single mode every thing works fine (including ACT OF WAR). So to be on the safe side I exchange them for just some standard Samsung 400MHz dimm’s.

Now every thing is working great except ACT OF WAR witch now crashes at 38%
But if move the dimm’s to single channel it is more stable, not perfect but more stable.
I now the memory is working fine because I have tested it.
This occurs with no patches install and patch 1b installed.
Has any one else encounter anything similar?

The nForce2 Ultra400 which you seem to have is unable to handle 333 properly. I had the exact same problem, just to let you know.

This now got fixed in the patch 2. See the FAQ and readmes. And while you are at it, read the threads about NVidia and Audigy cards, too :-)
