Can't Load or Save

For some reason i cant load or save games anymore. Whenever i try to hit the loadbutton in the mainmenu the game just crash to desktop. Same thing happen when i try to save when playing a skirmish or the campaign. I thought it might be a problem with that could be solved by a simple reinstall. After reinstalling i tried it out and it worked fine. Until i launched it the next time, where the same problem was again, crashing to desktop. Suggestions? :weirdblue

AMD64fx
2gb ram
GeForce 6800 GT
Windows XP sp2

PS: Who do i talk to to be able to upload an avatar? :rolleyesa

Is your game dir read only? do you have enough free space on your disk to save?


and for PS : you talk to us for 50 posts then you go in your profile, you will be able to upload a picture :)

yep, i have enough space free (30gb). And the dir is read only. I tired to uncheck the readonly "feature" but it wont let me. After deselecting it, it just pops back in when i close the window.

was it created as administrator? and maybe now you're playing as a standard user?

the read only dir is normal on winxp if i remember well, it's always set up this way but it's not used (go guess???)

Seems to work now after the latest reinstall. Wierd, i didnt do anything :D

well you DID change the read only dir, only it wasnt really clear...only thing i can guess???
