Invalid CD key error message

Hi

Ive been happily playing act of war for a while now, but not any longer. it wont startup! it says my CD key is invalid an di need to reinstal.

any reason for this? will i lose my saved games?

also, when i try to instal the patch it says it cant find the act or war folder. even when i put it inside it, or inside the atari folder.

Click START > Run... > type "regedit" > hit OK > locate HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Eugen Systems\ActOfWar

Verify that the key "AppDir" points to the correct folder.

If it doesn't, or if the key data is empty, I'm afraid you'll have to reinstall your game. If you can locate your save files and make a backup copy of them, they should work when copied back into the AOW/Save folder.

thanks for the info.

There is no 'eugen systems' under software. i couldnt see any metion of act or war. ill just reinstal and post to let u know how i got on.
