Hi, for those of you like me who own an AMD 64 system and a nightmare trying to get this game to run, I only just got my copy running today after a month of being led in circles. Basically if you started the game it wouldn't even load up, it brought up an error message before the game even started. I tried the AMD 64 patch and the latest patch from Atari but nothing worked, it wasn't until I moved back home and got the internet running that it finally booted up, since then it's running fine. My suggestion; download the latest patch aswel as the AMD 64 patch which can be found at http://www.securom.com/support/customers/atari/AMD64_actofwar.rar
install both patches and make sure the PC your playing AOW on has an net connection. Sounds daft if you have to download the patches first I know, but I transfered them from a different computer to mine. I hope that provides some help for those who, like me, payed out for this game and haven't even been able to play it yet. :tup:
