error message when tryng to install

try to run the setup again

error code: -6003

A message from windows or from installation application? If it is from Windows which symbol is in the left half of it?

is a message from the install shield wizard it has a big red X in the left side corner. also it says that i should close all programs, empty my temporary folder and check the internet based setups... i've already did that but it doesn't works.... should i Format my pc?

but there must be another solution. What you can do is:
- ensure you've got all updates from Microsoft and the Service Pack 2 (SP2), if you own Windows XP
- scan for worms, spy-software, virus, bad programs
- ensure you've got original Act of War disc which isn't scratched or dirty
- close applications when installing files (also background stuff)
- go to Install Shield (http://www.installshield.com/) and look for updates or new stuff for your install process, if it's for free

The last point should address your problem. ;)
