Shadows???????????

Hi i just got this game and is great every thing works fine except for one little prob is that i can get shadows at all, ive tried to find out about it but no one seems to have the same prob as me! folk say its the pixel shader 2.0, im runnning it on a geforce 4 Ti 4200 and its very smooth too with settings at max. No probs with other games though and ive tried just about every driver poss encluding tweaked drivers but no joy.

my system specs are
win xp sp1
1gb ram
2.8 ghz xp
gf 4 Ti 4200 128mb
xfx mach 4 mother board.
