Waiting on a patch before buying

Just want to let Atari and Deep Shadows know that I am VERY much looking forward to buying this game, but due to the almost universal consensus that it is very very buggy, I am going to wait until you guys release a patch (or patches) to squash most of the major bugs. I emphasize major, since I don't expect perfection.

Please support this game, since I am sure I speak for other gamers who've been burned or dissapointed by ambitious but unacceptably buggy games (Vampire: Bloodlines for example).

If there are other folks out there who feel similarly to me, please respond. It may be naive to think so, but maybe enough responses could help speed along a patch?



PS- I live in the US and am confused about why Atari pulled the patch that they had released?

no, i don't think they do. heck, the game isn't even listed anywhere on their website! or if it is, it is pretty well hidden.

Also the Official site doesn't even have the USA link working! :rolleyes:

Lol, yeah I had to double check the box to make sure it was Artari that was the publisher.
