''Uknown Error Occured''

hi, I have this problem:after having installed and uninstalled the game i tried for the second time to play online(the first was just fine,no errors at all).But now everytime i join somebody a pop up appears in game saying ''uknown error occured'' with an X right after it!The only thing wrong i remember i may have done is installing the second pacth only without having installed the first but it just let me connect to the server as if i had both patches!could that be the problem??can at least i have the links for the pacthes???thanx for the help! :lightbulb

think i can´t help you so far. it is a very interesting problem you describe.

But i don´t think it is because you haven´t installed the patch1 first.

i bought the game some time ago and i just installed it, and then installed the patch2 only.

you can tried it of couse, and here you can find the patches:

Having no problems with the patching like Pollux describes is maybe a seldom case.

Actually, you should do the following way (described in AoW-FAQs):
- Install the original game Act of War
- before installing the first patch you must load/play the game at least once; install it before installing the second patch
- and that's also the fact before installing the second patch: play/load the game at least once
