what do you think of them good bad or ugly?
i like them but they replace words such as dragonball (crystal balls)
piccolo (big green) plus the movies are renamed eg. movie 5 is coolers revenge not the strongest rivals

toonami are using what i think are fake dubs-i bought a dvd of broly the legendary super saiyan and the voice acting and names are PERFECT. oh yeah piccolo is jap for big green, same as oozaru is jap for big monkey :coolred:

its cool they have finaly come out. it beats reading japanese subtitles
by a long shot but the voices and renaming thing like dragonballs to crystalballs is annoying

How do all of you know that the Dragon Ball Z movies are comming on? I haven't seen the comercials or anything. I know Dragon Ball Z is back on .T.V. but i don't know about the movies... :lightbulb

I the movies are still good but the dub i dont like :(
and we know coz the movies came on tv ages ago.
and its only in the UK not usa.
Yeah the dubs are bad, i have the USA version and its brilliant, i have the movies 1-13. The Uk version destroys the atmosphere of the films.

I recently bought strongesy guy in the world and it is ****! same as the toonami dubbing, i think. goku sounds like a macho man, piccolo is called big green and krillin "klirrin" *shudder* sounds like barbie. where can i buy the NORMAL SOUNDING ones?! or where can i download them?

The dub's were absolutely terrible, and the Japanese to English Censoring was terrible, I'm not acting all childish and cringing, or anything like that, but Toonami could have got in serious trouble for showing Gohan's Penis.
The movies were good, dubs however, were terrible. Did any of you notice that in "The Strongest Guy in the World", that after the first comercial break, they started from the beginning again, meaning we didn't get to see the ending? That really annoyed me.
Anyway, they're showing the Dragonball movies now, so make sure you don't miss them.
(And also, in the dub, anyone notice how Bulma sounds like an Itallian Broad? XD)

Once i watched a chineese version of the episode were goku fuses with vegeta with the potara earings and it had english subtitles.... Anyway
vegito said ur weak or something then Super Buu said shut the f%&# up!
