Yeah it's a good card but if you're buying it expecting a dramatic change in Boiling Point, then you'll be dissapointed. With 512 RAM it doesn't matter what gfx card you have!

what do u mean ? does this card wont helps anything? or you want to say that i will need RAM 1gb anyway?

Yeah you need ram anyway :)
I have 1GB Ram and a 9800 pro and it stutters while driving, otherwise it's smooth.
i got 2G RAM and 6600GT PCI-E, get stutter randomly while driving too.

what cpu do you have?
@ShadowMoses
i think 9800 pro is to old like 9600 pro 6600GT 128 should do a job with 1gb RAM

I don''t think theres that much of a performance jump from a 9800 pro to a 6600gt, or at least not enough to qualify getting a new card.

Yep, it's not a huge leap forward

Could you try setting CacheMemory=128 in the GAME.INI file and let me know if you notice any improvement?

i just tried but there has no improvement made.
last time i get a problem with stutter all the time in the middle of the game. try reboot and load my saved file still get the same problem. after that i start with new game but it run smooth.
absolutely no idea what the main problem to cause it happen.
i decided to buy SVGA Sapphire Radeon X800XL 256Mb AGP VIVO+DVI i think that i will get improvements on all games with that card
I strongly recomend against buying PCI-express cards right now.
They are underpwoered and unstable, it is new technology after all..
In a year or so PCI-express will be alot more pwoerful, and the world will ahve to upgrade, but until then keep with AGP
i am talking only about AGP cards :D
hehe oops i missed that, I actually wasn't aware that the X800 came in an AGP version.
Tell me if it imrpoves anything..
I can't imagine it will stop the stutters, but crank up everything to high and behold hte beuty like I do
well do u think that geforce 6600GT 128 would be beter? i checked all performances on here SVGA Sapphire Radeon X800XL 256Mb AGP VIVO+DVI

You see how well the X800XL performed, the AGP version is even better than that, I can't find a benchmark right now to prove that though.. I saw one the other day..
dont see Radeon X800XL 256Mb AGP only PCI
