IS there really no way other than justs "kill everyone"?

I have arrived at the government base and need to steal the reconnaissance plans for the rebels. Is there really no way to clever way to solve this other than grab-plans-thereby-alert-base and then just kill everyone? Is there no stealth option? No cunning way to lure the soldier out of the room so I can steal it or better yet, take a photograph of the plans on the desk? Or can I just take a picture of it through the window? Is "kill everyone" REALLY the way this entire game works??? That gets kind of repetitive after a while so I sure hope not or this is a much dumber game than I had thought.

nope this game doesnt have a stealth element the ai is too stupid and u have can kill NPC again and again and they just respawn

But even if killing everyone is the only way, I nail a guy in the head from behind with a knife and get a message he did not cry out and STILL I have alerted the whole base when I take the map. WTF? And why cannt I just take a damn picture of it through the window so the Government does not know I am playing both sides? What about bribery? This is set in the Third World for gawd's sake so half the officials there should be on the take!

Would it have been too hard to try and add real role play elements? Those options do not strike me as being beyond the current state of the art of game AI.

I mean the devs are Russians and all the Russkies I have met know a thing or two about hard drinking... so I would have though the option to try and get the soldier so drunk he passes out would be there and you just better have a higher health than he does (which early on is unlikely).

That is the sort of thing I had hoped this game would have had rather than just drive somewhere then "run-and-gun" :-(

Maybe someone will eventually come up with some more intelligent RPG mods for Boiling Point to make this game what it could have been by giving more options.

your not giving the stealth in this game enough credit.

it's the most realistic stealth game I have ever seen, The enemies watch each others backs, thats why its very hard to get up behind someone and stab them in the head.
if you sit tight for a while and observe you can discover some soliders without a buddy, take them out first, then move onto the buddied soldiers - kill the watcher first then the patroller.

A silenced pistol makes easy work if your a good shot.

Well he is right that all is just killing even when not smart to be killing. How is it that all know when you are enemy even if you are stealth killing and stay out o sight? But better I am thinking is to trick people (I like mr hippo idea of bring tequila and see who is last man standing!).

Is sad this game not let you make smart moves and trick everyone :devil: :angel: .

Use the jar of marmelade or whathever it is. Throw it from a distance and then high-tail outta there. Works fine no kills but target.
