BOILING POINT - PATCH 1_1 INFORMATION

This patch is the latest update for Boiling Point. Applying the patch 1.1 on
your computer will automatically update all your previous versions already
installed without any problem.


PATCH 1.1 FIXES THE FOLLOWING


1. Sometimesall items from inventory were lost
2. Sounds not playing properly after a long gaming section
3. Improper animation is played after death
4. On some few PC's the game is slow after a long session
5. Random exception (crash) on load/save when save-file exceeds 40MB
6. Random exception (crash) when entering a car (using KEY "e")
7. Car in the inventory can disappear


SECUROM POSSIBLE ISSUE WITH PATCH 1

As our European Support team did report some problems with the Securom™copy
protection after applying patch 1 we worked close together with Sony / Securom™
on a general solution for this problem on Boiling Point: Road to Hell. While
applying the new patch 1.1. all problems on dvd disc verification should be
corrected.

Patch 1_1 has just caused my working game to start giving the old ...

"Original disc could not be found or authenticated"

message. :madred:

When it comes up with this eject the disc, reinsert, then when it starts to spin, click "Retry" - works for me!

hmm.... and this is with patch 1.1?

you could try reinstalling (back up any saves) and only applying patch 1.1... or maybe you did this already?

If so, grab the 1.0 version then update again to 1.1, you can probably get 1.0 from 3dgamers or something

Boiling Point (European)

OK did another complete re-install AGAIN !

Boiling Point installed in its default folders and it runs OK (ish).

Applied update 1 and get

"Original disc could not be found or authenticated"

Re-install Boiling Point

Applied update 1_1 and get

"Original disc could not be found or authenticated"

Re-install Boiling Point

Applied update 1 & 1_1 and get

"Original disc could not be found or authenticated"

Re-install Boiling Point and left it in its original but quirky state
and its running OK (ish)
