I know this has already been mentioned, but then again, my original thread(in off topic as BP forum was not in existence)was posted way before them.

Ok, fine, I grit my teeth and buy an additional DVD Player, yay, i can run it. So the game is patched , and guess what, it wont play in either drive now.

"Please remove disc from current CD/DVD drive and insert the original disc in another drive G:."

No - Re-inserting it does not work before anyone asks.

WTF is Ataris problem, dont they want me to play this. I am really getting P**** with them now.

SORT IT OUT ATARI! I cant believe Im the only one getting wound up here.

the easy way would be to get a nocd ***** or a dvd fix
it isnt illegal as you have the real cd

You're not the only one who's peeved. I bought this game last week, hasn't worked once. I keep getting told to shut down rage3dtweak but I don't have anything like that on my PC. Atari have really badly screwed this one up, what makes it worse, is that it sounds like an okay game despite the bugs during gameplay, I just can't even get to the gameplay.

How, if you never buy a product, do you manage to wash your dishes, brush your teeth, or clean your house?

This is what I have and my problem again, I have an AMD Athlon 2400 with a GeForce FX5200, 1gb RAM and 140GB HDD I've installed the game but when I click on it's icon I get the loading counter for a couple of seconds but nothing happens. I've been told to close rage3dtweak in the program manager but there is no rage3dtweak on my PC. Any insight into my problem would be much appreciated.

Maybe Gh(o)st wants to share with us that he programs all his games himself, as well as making his own music? :angel: :rolleyesa Yeah right..a real "do it yourself" guy.

It couldn't be that he's so shortsighted that he ripps off developers/artists and publishers by downloading all his stuf, and actually advertises this wonderful lifestyle? :tdown:

I had a similar problem, where Boiling Point simply would never start up, no error message, nothing. I have a utility running for my graphics card, the executable calls itself 'Gameutil.exe'. See if there's anything like that in Task Manager, or anything with a name that might relate to your graphics card.
