Go to Puerto Faro (don't forget to take some dynamite and a tequila). On the NE corner of the city u find Gramps in a courtyard. Ask him about the city (you'll have to give him the bottle of tequila to continue the conversation). At some point he mentions a treasure. explore that subject and u will receive a quest to find a lost treasure which is very close from Gramps location. (u can walk right up the hill to the place). Blow up the entrance to the cave with dynamite and there u find emeralds, Gold icons and some rare artifact plus a xenus fragment (which u can sell to the collectionar in the first town).

If u have the car parked nearby, take a one hour nap and then go to the cave again where u will find the same items. (over and over and over again until u are stinking rich). Do not complete the treasure quest by going back to gramps and do not complete any other quest in between visits to the cave, otherwise u'll have to spned some more on dynamite to blow up the cave entrance every time.

Note: the amount of money u get on the items depends a little on how good is your relation with the civilians. To increase the stats with civilians donate repeteadly to the bank in Puerto Sombra. (about 5000 and u'll be close friends forever)

Works only in 40%
Items respawn themself only at 20:00. I got my heli parked near the mountain. No matter how long I sleep and go back, the treasure it's gone. But when I get there just before 20:00 and wait sometime, items are back.
However I can't always sleep 24h.

well, for my brother it worked different. he didn't even have to sleep. he just went and spoke with the CIA guy without taking any missions from him. just the usual hello stuff.
I made about 20K there but then I got bored. but there's always the potential. whenever ur in real need of money and have little choises to make, that cave is an easy way to make some credits.

After completing that mission you won't be able to blow up the cave again. There won't be a red mark to place explosives. Too bad, I wanted to buy a villa for 50k.

I'm sure you can have one. I mean what are those plans for? I'll never know that because I can't enter treasure cave again.
