Well, I've just been given a book on flying, so I guess that's it. I got it from the Don you're supposed to see on the main mission - the one who is supposed to have seen 'your daughter' last. Was that Don Pedro? (Too many Dons for my failing memory! :) ). Anyway, the one who is behind locked doors in a massive mansion...

Ooops. The book I found was for a single seat plane, not the heli.

when a mission need it, then you will given a book to learn. i've learnt from Guerrillas and Find Lisa mission.

Yes, I just got the heli book in order to handle the 'steal the heli for the guerillas' nission. Quite handily, I also have the 'destroy the jet fuel for the cia' mission ... both at the same site. So - two birds, one visit.

However ... ALL my attempts to get away in the heli have failed miserably so far - three enemy helis shoot the excrement out of me within seconds of taking off, whether I'm pumping out flares like thgere's no tomorrow or not. I've tried flying low, high, spinning... nothing seems to work. Maybe I should wait till it's midnight (now dusk)? Any clues/tips?

Whatever else, I'm going to have a long trek back to pick up the car ... :sour:

i got mine from the guerilla in the jaguar negro. (to start their missions).

Well, I finally flew that heli out - by belting for the town area, then flying over water to the destination.

Now I'm trying to shoot down planes for the CIA ... oh my, how allegiances shift in this game!

i got a bug with the Guerrillas mission to take down CIA Heli
1st time i shoot down 4 CIA heli but the mission remain and target pointing to 87KM away(i think the whole map not larget than 30KM)
2nd time i shoot down "8" CIA heli but the mission remain and target pointing to someplace with nothing.
3rd time i shoot down 4 CIA heli and finally mission completed.
