After a day of dickin' around I finally got the game to run properly, doesn't look like a bad game but i am not gonna play to much cause i need a reformat and 64bit OS coming soon in the mail. But for people having issues with firing the game up heres what I did, i know its just as easy to look int he troubleshooting section and find the answers but this is something a bit more personal.
1. Go into Game.ini file find 'DISABLEAVIPLAYER=0' and change 0 to 1 then save. This disables intro movie.
2. Go to 'Run' enter dxdiag, go to sound tab, then 'hardware sound acceleration level' set it to no acceleration, exit then.
3.Explore BP dvd and manually install WM9 and codecs.
Only after I did all of this stuff it did work, take away a step and no go, its a shame it comes down to this for an anticipated game like this to be this so troublesome.
