I have a setup with 7.5GB webspace and a decent monthly bandwidth allowance. Anyway, I'm going to do a big Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 website for park spotlights/exchanges, promotions, custom structures/scenery and all that kind of thing. Looking for people interested in joining and helping me out particularly those good at 3D modelling. Realise I'm a "n00b" but I want to create a really fantastic resource for the community. :)

Sorry in advance if this is in wrong forum but this looked like the most suitable one between my park construction stints.

Just leave your email, MSN and any other details like that. I'll be in touch.

I'd be happy to help. I could set you up a free forum and be the admin for it? Also not a bad park/ride builder if i may say so myself. :lolblue:

Hi there,
I am a web hoster (I host web sites for cash), how much do you pay at the moment, cause I will beat the price for you! I would say free, but unfortunatly, It costs me to run it. I would say a maximum of about £3 ($6.20).

your user logging in system may I ask exactly how it works how easy it is to add users look up users etc? I am looking to make a really efficent user system but I really don't have a clue. Want some sort of database controlled system. Have to have certain required fields etc?

Well, my user system works using MySQL Databases. It stores all information etc, and when you log in, if checks you details. If they are all correct, they set a session variable for it. You are logged out after about 45 minutes, or when you close that browser window.

The user look up is dead simple to be honest. I can make it to use wild cards. You can also edit things. I would show u my personal site tbh, but its still under construction.

If you want personal scripts made, I do charge a small fee.

Hi Thanks for that. I am currently looking at some content management systems. I am having to wait a bit as my site was hosted at my own house on my pc as it is so powerful to host it however it is not practical as you can't restart all the time etc.

While I am waiting its being hosted on my old site but that can only cope with my normal version not broadband version. I am saving up for a shuttle system which will host my site. I am planning to install on that php support, asp support, mysql database on it and maybe a few other things.

So its just about looking out for a shuttle system as I have a very tight budget.

Looking on ebay.
