Please can you help me Only had this game for 5 minutes!!!!!

Hello,

I have literally just bought this game today, and upon placing the disc inside my dvd-rom drive the intro part loads up with the woman news reader and the two other men talking about oil gas etc.And then after it has finished I get an error appear whilst the game is installing.

It says:

CRC error The file C:\Program Files\Atari\Act of War-Direct Action\datav.dat doesen't match the file in the setup's.Cab file.The medium from which you are running the setup may be corrupted, contact your software vendor.

Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how did you go about resolving it.

i had the error but i clicked on IGNORE there will be totally two or three error.just click ignore in all.the game worked fine for me.with no problem.no patches required.

let me know if this solved.
