I have just finished the PC version of Fahrenheit and I have some comments about it.
I have been playing Point & Click games since early 90s and I think this game is somewhat an evolution of this gender. The idea of Motion Physical Action Reaction makes you feel right in the game. The dialogues are fluid, the graphics are great and it has a balanced combination between action and adventure. The idea of combining moves and video-games is not a new one, but Fahrenheit accomplishes it with elegance.
Unfortunately the storyline is somewhat kitschy. A first I was expecting something like a Gabriel Knight horror-mystery, where the story is also based on historical real facts combined with fiction. But then Fahrenheit turned out to be more like a combination of Matrix, Metal Gear, X-Files and some other pop-culture stuff. The "real facts" which make a storyline more rich, believable and interesting were almost torn away.
I also had those problems with the controller mentioned in other forums. Anyway, it is better to play Fahrenheit using the mouse I think.
All in all, this game is great, it sure is fun and the concept is well accomplished. I hope to see more games like this in the future, with richer and more believable storylines.
Well, it's good to see people are still playing this game in 2007 :)
Still playing in 09 WOOOOOOOOO!
