View Full Version : How do I get out of the Mental Hospital?

eekblue: So I have spoken to the Dr Lecter lookalike and started to leave. The lights go out, and I can find my way back to the main junction. I pause for the patient to walk past me and then I continue, but whatever happens, a patient gets me.... any help or ideas?

I have worked out the breathing thing, I just can't avoid the patient that seems to appear out of the blue when Carla says "he's right there".

How do I get out of the place safely?

They do go away, I think that you're not quite where you think you are. Its dark and confusing, and I was lost in there for ages eekblue:

When Carla says 'he's right there', just freeze and they go away, if not, its usually safe for you to move.. You don't necessarily need to get past them, just away.

I died once in there, it was horrible, I'm probably scarred for life.. Next time someone invites me to a prison for the criminally insane, I'm gonna have to refuse lightbulb

I got kileed once because I kept going straight ahead, towards one of the inmates, without turning anywhere. Then I figured that I had to take a left turn to the first inmate that comes in front of me and go straight ahead :chapeau:

When you see the first guy you stop moving.. wait till carla says hes going away i can breathe now. then turn left and move forward. When the other guy goes past you stand still untill she says it again. Volia !

I think half the problem is that I don't like moving in the dark. I spend most of my time squinting at the screen because those lumbering nutters appear out of nowhere and they make me launch towards the moon when they do!!!!

I never thought I would be scared of a computer game!!!

Off I go into the darkness once more........

I'd suggest that you never ever play Project Zero II...I can't play it for more than 20 minutes at a time unless I want a heart attack :mefiant:

that bit terrified me too.. esp the noise like shes being thwacked over the head when she screams. Im not looking forward to replaying that bit i tell you !

I also have a problem, when I'm in the mental hospital and the lights go outn I have to breave (duh) but I can't move to the left or the right just back and front :s so I get stock into a corner where I can't move out :s
can somebody help me, I play this on my pc with keyboard and mouse
(srry for my english but I'm Dutch tonguegre)

Hi, i just saw your post, and i think i know the answer!
You can move not only with the keyboard, but also with the mouse, by holding the two buttons down. That's it. So simple. I wish i helped you.
