View Full Version : Glitch on xbox in bathroom at diner
Hi
Ive completed the game once so i decided to replay with different actions. The first time when the guy has been murdered i mopped up the blood and hid the knife. So this time i dragged the guy into the toilet and then went for the mop. He picked it up but when i tried to mop the blood up lucas did it once then it glitched back to as if he hadnt mopped it up. Whatever i did the blood was still there.
So i decided to leave it and hide the knife.. when the carla and co came in to search the room. Normally where the knife is in the bin it wasnt there and i had searched everywhere making me have to restart the game.
This time it was exactly the same with the mop thing so i had to leave the blood and i had to leave the knife on the floor so that carla and co could find it to progress past the diner.
Is this a glitch , anyway to solve it ?

I play the game on PC, but there you have to repeat the mopping action several times (maybe 4 or 5 times) until the blood disappears.
As I don't think it is system dependent, try this.

I didnt have to do this before i dont think. It just looks like a glitch as he snaps back

Hmmm, on the PS2 you definitely have to 'perform the action' several times to get the mop scrubbing the floor properly :)

Let's call it Mopptail you are having :laugh:
Despite the tutorial I had to realize that if an action trigger button (left mouse button on PC) is not pushed long enough while you are massaging the pad with the animal upwards or whichever direction you have to, the action won't be done and the image will skip to the start position.
It was frustrating to me as well. When you have to act several times to get the result, you cannot be sure whether the task has been done properly or you have just lost some valuable seconds for nothing. :mad:

I'm playing it on the Xbox, as said before you have to repeat the up and down motion several times. Also whenever I've hid the knife it has always ended up in a different location to the one you said.

yup, the knife in my game never ended up in the bin.........
I'm playing on XBox and noticed this which I thought was an error as well: I found that Lucas always said 'now I have to hide this knife' Then the view went to the cop in the cafe and you never saw where he hid the knife - when the camera came back he just didnt have it anymore. Then it took AGES when playing as either detective to find the knife. What happened was tyler flushed both toilets (?!) instead of looking in them. Carla wouldnt do any action near them then after lots of pointless wandering and trying to leave 5 times she ran in on her own and found it down one of the toilets (you didnt get to see her find it as it just showed the main toilet door). I also got some weird camera angle where it just looked at the floor unless you pushed the run button when I can out the burning hanger. Weird.

dude there's an opening in the wall, in the left toilet, by the floor. Lucas hides his knife there... When u go there with Carla she'll find the knife hidden there.

This didn't work for me - Carla bent down and examined the hole but the knife wasnt there. She eneded up finding it in the toilet - where I didnt put it.

that's realy strange.....
U playing the PC, XBOX or PS2 version ???
Cause i play the XBOX version, and al the 10+ times i played the game, Lucas hides the knife in that little space in the left toiletstall
Mines xbox version.. first time he hid it in the bin. Then second time i couldnt find it.
Maybe it is randomly hidden in a selection of places - because while playing as Tyler, you can search in the bin, but only carla can search the little hole in the wall (I think)

Nope actualy its in the order you do things...
if the first thing you do is hide the knife it wil be in the little hole at teh toilet kane was in karving him self
if you hide the body (now that doors closed :p )
and then hide the knife it wil be random (only if you opened up the other toilet door)
it then can be in either the Trashcan or the toilet on the right side
ohw and when you have done evrything thats cleaning yourlself hide the body mop evrything up and the cop is walking towards the toiletry's he can actualy hide it in the toilets thats are on the wal the only way to find them then is letting the cop guy p!s in the hanging toilets :) kinda a funny scene :)
