Ok, is it just me or why canīt I save my games. I've tried everything logic. Even the autosave seems to be useless. I've advanced a bit into the game (when I'm attacked in my office by som green bugs), then I died and I have to start all over from the beginning again. Frustrating!

Help! How do I save a game?

erm, PC / XBOX / PS2 ?

The PS2 game just saves every chapter, and at set points in the middle of them, you see a flashing red 'rec' circle at the top of the screen.

When you restart are you hitting 'Continue'?

Have you at some point gone to the 'Chapters' menu, and opted to play without saving?

I play the PC-version. The only time I have seen a red circle in the upper right croner of the screen i when the game has just started (in the rest room).

I can't hit 'Continue' in the main menu. It's not illuminated!

In the chapters section, no matter what I do I have to start all over from the beginning again.

be sure to create a "login" at the beginning and play using it, otherwise the game won't get saved.

Got the same problem with the PC version. After some playing I noticed the "Rec" didnt appear anymore (only did in the beginning). So I looked into Options and see my Autosave is off and I can't change it for some reason. Tried uninstalling/new login, but that made no difference. Anyone have a possible answer or solution?

I have the same problem too. I start playing, autosave is switched on. Then after a while, I notice it's not saving. In the options, autosave is greyed out. you return to the main menu to switch it on, and you press continue, only to find it puts you back in the game at the last point it saved, usually four chapters ago.

Surely this can be fixed???

I've seen this problem before it has to do with some win XP progs that you need to disable...


and make sure your instal dir has autority to write and edit(have seen this to auto save geths disabled when it ditects it
