stuck on the basketball court

i made the bet to play jeff for the money with tyler but the game always just locks up on the 3 round. i've tried not pressing any buttons at all, winning the first 2 round and i've also tried losing them but nothing works. I checked the tech sticky and my graphic card is ok and nothing is overclocked etc. is there any way to get pass this or will i have to start the game again and simply avoid this part?

Thats odd ???? but the only way i can see to get passed it, is to go back to part you made the bet and just pay. What a pain m8 :noooo:

That really sucks.... try contacting the email address in the tech-tip thread...

They'll probably just go for installing the latest drivers, don't forget all your hardware like sound cards and motherboards and everything...

i got pass this bit. What i did was to upgrade my graphics card drivers (fx5200) and i updated quicktime dont know if this had any affect at all but i tried that. At the scene i didnt pass any buttons and just let jeff win.

i was playing on normal i truend it to easy then i win all the 10 points and passed that bug

Hello!
It's stange - my game also freezes at the basketball game - but at the very beginning of it. Just after the first section of buttons to press all freezes except of snow .. the music is still playing in the background and you can go to menu or options.. but you CAN'T PLAY!!
I tried to press the combination correctly and i did not pressed anything as well, i've been changing the difficulty level as well. I got Geforce FX 5200 and the latest drivers. And still i cant play... :/ It sucks.
I think there is a problem in a game code.. i hope they will release a patch to fix that cause i dont want to go back to the point when i decided not give that scum his 100 bucks :P
Is there any third option for me (except of waiting for a patch and going back in a game) ?

There has been a recent Nvidia driver update, please try that - I know, cliche support advice, but it so often works :) tonguegre

Update quicktime aswell. I did this as well as updating my graphics drivers and its worked first time. I dont know if quicktime makes any difference or not but its a worth a go. Also dont press any buttons just let the scene run. Hope this helps

My Quicktime is up to date.
By the way that would be unbelievable if having the latest Quick Time would have enything to do with that game working properly :)

The movies I see in the PC version are BIKs which use BIK player by RadTools.

Are you overclocking your PC or your video card?
Dont forget about sound and motherboard drviers.

I had exactly the same problem as you described above.
Try lowering you screenresolution. Strangly that's how i managed to get past it :mefiant: . After the bbal scene you can set the resolution back to your own preference.
