Controlling Carlas breathing

Hi
I just can't find out how to control Carlas breathing. I'm using a PC, and have tried with keyboards (where I have no problems controlling other "mini-games").
As I have understood the game wants me to walk an breath at the same time.
Could someone give me an explanation for "dummies". I have tried to rerun the chapter where it is explained the first time, but no matter what I do the it doesn't seem to have any effect on the "breath'o'meter". I don't know I have to push left/right quickly or slowly, keep the bottoms down or not, as far as I have tried it doesn't matter - it just doen't work.
So now I'm completly stucked :mefiant:

Hi, it's fairly easy...

When the breath'o'meter is in the middle position, just press the left and right in a slow pace... And you have to increse your pace the further to the sides you get....

OK I see.
My problem was when the pointer was on the right sight I kept pushing the left, to make it go to the left side. I just have to learn to be paitent (that's hard).
Now I just need to figure out how to breath and change direction, when it is the same keys I have to use - I'm using a laptop in and don't like to be depent on a mouse - but perhaps I need it her.

I held down the left and right mouse buttons to move her while trying to keep her breathing in line.

Since there's really no reason to look around at the floor or celing (and I don't know if it will let you anyway) and she moves so slowly, it's pretty easy to make small movement changes with the mouse.

Her breathing sections are really the only time in the game I used the mouse for moving around.

What i do,is just wait for the bar to start moving either left or right.
Then a few taps left and right(same as the other track and field stuff) will bring the bar back to the middle.Once back in the middle stop tapping.

I found if you tap frantically you'll fail.

You don't have to tap the buttons continuously,just give them a few taps when the bar starts moving.

Basically, the bar WILL move to the right of its own accord...

so you can store up a bit of time by left-righting till your in the middle of the left bit, then wait till it moves over, then do it again ...

also if you left-right with about a second - 1.5 second gap between presses, you can keep the bar virtually static

I meant where is the tape in the archive where Carla is freeking out?

oh yes, I remember.
the tape is somewhere in the "1990-2000" archive area...if you're facing the computer, it's in the shelf area on your right hand side. You have to do some moving around with the file cabinets to reach the back area where the 1990-2000 shelf is. There's two shelves labeled "1990-2000", when you get them open, I think it's the shelf on the left that has the tape.
