I am sure this is a bug - during two of the important action sequences where left/right button bashing is involved, I have "failed" on numerous occasions even though the power bar has been on maximum. I cannot see how I could be bashing any faster if the bar is showing maximum, so it must be a glitch that "fail" keeps triggering.
