Okay, so how are the ultimate moves/attacks in Budokai Tenkaichi gonna look like? For example, we've all seen (or at least most of us have seen) the clip where Vegeta uses his Big Bang Attack to finish of Frieza. But is that really it?.. I mean, the attack is over in 2 seconds. So could that really be Vegetas best and strongest attack? Hope not.
And speaking of Vegeta, in the same clip, and probably the same fight, Vegeta uses an attack called Explosion Wave. Could it be Majin Vegeta using his Ultimate? In Budokai 3 it was called Explosion Blast or something. IF that's the same move then.. weirdblue seriously wtf.
But yeah, anyone got any schreenshots/clips of ultimate attacks?

Explsion Wave is a death move, not an Ultimate (I beleive anyway) I liek the look of the attack, Majin Vegeta's was Final Explosion and MUCH bigger than Explosion Wave.

Most of the sites now say 21st so i guess that's the date; which means 2 WEEKS FROM NOW!! :mad:

LOL!! I pre-ordered the game and amazon say tht it will arrive on the 14 while if u go on the checkout screen, it says 21. I guess ever1 is confused. :laugh:

Yeah, I know.. It just hit me that what if that would've been the Final Explosion. But I can see that it's a death move now. Luckily.
I really don't care that much if it comes 14th or 21st. I just wish they could make a decision already. :p
I don't think their are any ultimate moves. Every video i've seen which was an ultimate move in the last games is now performed like a death move. (like when Piccolo is fighting that oozaru, he uses his special beam cannon like a death move).

Well there are some ultimate moves, like the Spirit Bomb, Friezas Death Ball and some other that I've seen. Though they don't look like real ultimate moves.. nothing like in Budokai 3.
Damn, I really hate this new game frownblue Would it have been that hard to just keep everything (or at least the most important things) from Budokai 3, and improve it and include this new 3D camera view. I just don't undestand them..
This is wat usually happens when games switch developers. I wish spike had stuck with the ideas of dimps and include their own.

I like the ideas of shorter Ultimate Moves or whatever they are called.
Flippip I am not behind it is the 21st, GAME have now said so in their newsletter today.
The 21st is closer to my b day the 25th.

I think it's fine, maybe it would be better to have a nice build up but atleast you don't have to hit the enemy for it to work. On B3 whenever you went into hyper mode they just tried to run away which was so annoying.

Explosion Wave, is not vegeta's Special, or yes it is, but it's not his attack. All Saiyans master that attack/shield. But vegeta's special IS big bang attack, but also final flash. Everybody Exept Hercule and videl has basic attacks, called for example Full power charge or beam or something like that.
The Ultimate Attacks were annoying in B3 IMO.

It gets tedious, repetive and extremley annoying. madred:

True, but I never had any problems with them running away since it was easy to just follow them and when you got close enough they would stop running and start to attack you. Which made it possible to hit your ultimate (depending on how good the oponent was).
The Ultimate Attacks were annoying in B3 IMO.

Explosion Wave is just a move that knocks the enemy off guard. Everyone has a move like that.
I'd still watch the same animation 100 times a day rather than not being able to make an attack that lasts longer than 3 seconds. Won't you guys miss the part where you see a huge explosion from space, after you've hit Broly's Giant Meteor for example. I'm sure I will. Those animations are what makes the fights more intense. That's my opinion..
But okay, I'll shut up and wait till I've got the game. THEN I'll start complain about what's missing :p

No it is'nt. I don't know about who have the move, but it is a shield, and it takes a "Special Attack Point".

Explosion wave is just a favorite move, it's mostly used as a shield against a much bigger attack e.g. kamehameha, Spirit Bomb ect...
And im dissapointed about the moves on Tenkaichi, the game seems to have been made a little half*buttocked*, I mean come on Goku's x10 Kamehameha is blue! and most of the characters have the same moves! When I played on Budokai 3 it just oozed quality but Tenkaichi bah, its fun but just doesn't seem as good as it's pre-dosessors frownblue weirdblue

lolblue: On DBZ B3, the best attack is Vegeta's Super Big-Bang Attack, the way that the Earth's atmosphote (Think is spelt like that)... Its just great!

Nah the funniest has to be Recoome's Ultra fighting bomber, when it goes to the earth blowing up part you can see a giant ginyu force logo flashing in the middle of the explosion :laugh:
