Platinum Edition extra characters (Help!!)

hey, guys.. im new to the forum! :rolleyes:

I have a question, yesterday i bought Budokai 3 (platinum edition) and i read the manual. its says "Dragonball Z Budokai 3 now contains extra characters! including Angel Warrior Goku. Long Haired Trunks, King Piccolo and other hidden characters! " To get acces to these characters you will have to input passwords in the normal mode Dragon Arena, as if they were made by other players. To get your password visit www.dbz-videogames.com

I'm afraid i couldnt really find anything.. anyone know about this ?

I dont know about platinum but collectors edition had those characters and its in a totally KOOL case, but they arent characters they are costumes and u only get 3 of them the vegeta one is normal

It wont give you any new characters or bonus's.

Yeah its the version where its cheap, around £20 in the UK. But the above said there is new characters/or costumes for that character.

I bought the Platinum and Unlocked King Piccolo, Halo Goku and Long haired Trunks, plus the Japanese voices and the moving mouths.
The Uk Platinum and US Greatest hist are the Collector's editions.

Arts= Increases beam attack power
Ability= Increases strength of capsules. E.G:- We Gotta Power will give more exp than usual.

Right, here's the deal. First, B3, then B3 Collectors Edition with 3 extra costumes, Jap V-O's and moving mouths on menus. Then comes the Platinum version of the original B3, BUT with the CE extras.

ive ordered the platinum version (im in the uk btw) for christmas and i really wanna know if i HAVE to use the jap voices as i think they REALLY suck.

so.. do these alternative costume passwords only work on the collector's edition? and is the platinum version CE, or normal? I tried the Piccolo Daimao password on my normal B3, with no result.. i might have made a mistake, but i'm assuming that they're not meant to work...

no it's just for the collector's edition, since originally B3 was released unfinished.

I don't have the game myself though, so I can't tell you anything else.

it won't work because the programing is different and i don't think it'll work on tenkaichi because it's not been out long enough to have the right programings from the new B3 game

You can't use codes in Tenkaichi, for character's who aren't in the game, eg Omega Shenron, so those characters who are created by different costumes, are unlikely to work either

I got the UK Platinum edition. on case says new characters (blatently costumes) and jap voices.


however. i only tried 1 secret character password at this point. "Halo/Angel Warrior Goku"

And it did work...i cant be bothered to try other passwords as they take too long and will probably have no result.

i havnt seen anything of the sort of japanese voices or whatever this moving mouths **** is all about.

im guessin platinum is exactly the same as the first B3 released and has nothing to do with CE or what it says on the front/back of the box/case.
