After reading some information about this game I'm looking forward to it more than previously. I'm looking forward to the online side of the game as it will be a lot of fun to just drive around and find people to race against. Let's just hope this turns out to be as good as it has the potential to be.

so the cars are fast as hell on a one thousand plus miles of open roads.

you can tune up supercars and normal cars and has 150 licensed vehicles from exclusive manufacturers including Lamborghini, Ducati, Aston Martin, Mercedes, Saleen, Shelby, and Jaguar

Yeah, being an ex-MCO'er myself I'm really excited about what I've read and seen so far. I too would like to know more about the levels of customization in all aspects of the car.

Hi everyone!
Atari sure are getting ready to release some awesome games soon (I'm also eager to check out Timeshift... all that, and without once using the 360 hard drive! eekblue: )
But, obviously this forum's all about TDU. I can only imagine how that's going to play online. Wow.

I am interested to learn though, what style the team working on the game went for with regards to handling...more towards Arcade or Realism?

I agree with Darth Morbus, this game has huge potential...I have a feeling it will be able to live up to it though.

If they get it right, I think it will be PGR3 style - which I think of as powersliding simulation! There needs to be a feeling of weight to the cars.
When it comes to Handling, my biggest concern for the game is the Bike handling, something that is notoriously hard to get right in games.
The designers need to look long and hard at this aspect - if it feels like motogp, keep it in, but if feels like Roadrash, it would be better cut from the game.

yeah, hi. Ill probably be hanging out in this forum for a bit
as for my history with the series, I have the following games:
Test Drive 5
Test Drive 6
Test Drive (PS2)
I've been trying to keep up with the news on Unlimited, as it sounds awesome (although I dont have a 360 as of yet, is it coming out for the PC?) but I figured that the communty forum would be the REAL place to get the information ASAP.

EDIT: Oh wait, this is the Europe Atari Forums...my bad. I thought I was posting on the http://www.ataricommunity.com forums to which I am already active in

the car that has benifited me most th the tvr with no roof upgrade it with best pakage and its top speed is well i got to 242mph on the tour of the island race laters lol I love shaun of the dead there is a film with them actors in they play ed (nick fost) and shaun (simon pegg) the film there are in is called hotfuzz watch the traliers of it type it in in google the film is funny
