Hi!
I bought this game today and I have finished some lvls.
But now I get to a window were I need to choose a ability.
But I can find the button to choose one?
Does anyone know wich button it is?
Which format are you playing it on? :mefiant:

I got EXCACTLY the same problem...
hmmm, Ill try run in 800x600
Its the "main" screen, if I might call it that, where we see neo levatating in a circle of abilities..

nope, didn't work
ok, in top right corner, I see the text (ENTER) Select and beneath there a yellow circle and "x1" so.. "yellow circle times one"
I can move the ring from ability to ability and level to level. But when I press space, as I normally did to exit this thing, and get playing :P, I get this error message, no matter where I have moved the circle: "You must select a new ability before you can continue"
help?

got it after 45 minutes of trying :P
some of the "abilities" are brighter, more white. press them and "aqiure new ability" :)

I have finished some levels and got to the beginning of the level storming the drain.
But first I get to a window were I need to choose a ability.
in top right corner, I see the text (ENTER) Select and beneath there a yellow circle and \"x1\" so.. \"yellow circle times one\"
I can move the ring from ability to ability and level to level. But when I press space, as I normally did to exit this thing, and get playing I get this error message, no matter where I have moved the circle: \"You must select a new ability before you can continue\"
I have the PC version on windows XP proffessional. The solutions given in this thread do not work for me.

Did you read this :
some of the "abilities" are brighter, more white. press them and "aqiure new ability" :)
They are also a slightly different 'glyph'. You have to choose a new one.
Give it a try. :wink2:

Are you pressing 'space' or 'enter' to select ? :mefiant:
I'm not sure what the keys are, I played on the PS2. :)

I choose the ability by moving around with the cursors on my keybord. If I then press enter I get a discription of the ability. Pressing space there does not do a thing, pessing enter again gives an example of the ability selected and then the screen pops back to the discription.
If I press space after selecting the abilty with the cursor on the keyboard I get the message that I have to choose the abilty although it seems to me that I already selected it.
It is slowly driving me mad. I even can't get out of the game at the point the escpe button does not allow you to leave the game completely.

I try moving cursor down to select, but a no go. The matrix has me, lol. It's the PC version i have, not too bothered i picked the game up for £12.99, but i'd like to continue if i figure out what i'm supposed to select with, lol. Might go try some of these suggestions. Oh well never mind, ...."C.R.A.P", haha.
Oh by the way i noticed somewhere there is a 1.2 patch, but i can't find it.

There's literally only one or two out of the whole lot that you can actually select....
You can see the info on all of them, but the availiable ones looks very slightly different.

Ok i'm in the floating neo zone, lol, there is only one symbol that stands out different from the rest, it's yellow with a white outer skin it's ...Weapon Strip Level 2, i press enter on my PC keyboard and i get to view the 3D animation special ability. Two options (1) View this Upgrade, (2) Upgrade Completed. In all the special ability that i have unlocked, they all say Upgrade completed, so what key do i press on my PC keyboard to progress. I have tried space bar, enter, infact i pressed all the keys possible, so is it a combination of keys? I can not even press ...Esc on keyboard to go into main menu. So i'm stuck in Path of neo, the floating zone, haha. Ummm!! the matrix has me. By the way i really like the Bruce Lee shuffle, cool moves.
Oh by the way, it was a clean installation, then i patched to 1.1. downloaded from Atari uk website, the game is a UK version.
Back in the matrix heh heh, the white symbols are quite hard to tell apart from the other white symbols, you have to focus, so i'm good to go.

It's been quite a while since i played this game, i cannot remember exactly how i proceeded all i remember is that to proceed through to the next level is to view the upgrade then select it but i could not for the life of me see which symbol to select, they all look the same but if you focus/look very carefully you can see a slight difference but man you have to focus and also i can't remember if you press space bar or enter when you select/move the cursor over/on the symbol. Look at the outer edge of the symbol, i think?.
