video problems

hey guys, wondering if anyone can help me out here, or if anybody else is having the same problem.
the video sequences dont play when i'm playing the game.
i can play the game itself fine but the movie parts wont. i can catch about 4 frames out of each piece.
HELP! my friend got the xbox version (mines pc) and the video in his is fine except the video is delayed so you hear the sound first. is this a bug in the game or just our luck?

I really don't know about the XBOX version, I could probaly find out for you, but your PC version, is much easier to handle.

Have you met the System Requirements?
Have you updated your graphics card to the latest drivers?
What setting do you have the Render set to in Video Options? that increases a shading module, maybe your graphics card doesnt have the correct options set or outdated drivers for the certain shading module.

specs are fine, the only issue i came accross was that i have a geforce 5700le but its overclocked and more like standard 5700.as i said...the game runs fine, just the video sequences i'm having trouble with. video stting is at 2, havnt had a chance to test the rest yet as ii'm in work. could it be a codec problem? the movie are .sfd files and as far as i know they are used with gamecubes and another console, but not sure if that has anyrelevance.

you don't need to download any codecs to be able to play this game, thats for sure :)

I take it you have the latest Direct X 9.0c version?

i'm not sure if this is possible on these forums, or if its permitted.. if i can get some official word, could you post up your DXDiag log? If you're not sure how to obtain that, I can tell you how.

reinstalled 9.0c just to make sure and to no avail.
i dont have an internet connection at home at the mo cause i moved and i wont be back in work untill next wednesday. :noooo:
