Which is better 'Enter the Matrix' or 'Path of Neo'? Is path of neo worth buying? I played Enter the Matrix and thought it was pretty good apart from not being neo sour: and some obvious graphical bugs in it, but is path of neo better then enter the matrix? or worse? Graphics wise and gameplay wise.
Neo can kick Niobe/Ghosts *** with his hand tied to hi feet and while he has his eyes closed....
Graphics are ok, bugs are crazy (so many) and gameplay wins
but really i think enter the matrix was better seeing as it wasnt as buggy as this
my point of view is that its unplayable on PC at all. Its a console made game..
Apart that there are a lot of good ideas in the gameplay and the crazy storyline. Its different from EtM but not worst not better..
Wait for the Euro patch...
enter the Matrix was a worthless game, just a cash in..
the gameplay sucked quite hard (shooting etc), the game played to much underground.. it was quite crappy
the path of neo is even worse..
hell, this game has a lousy gameplay..no freedom, only like 2 options to choose "your own path"... its almost unplayable due to the bugs, and the grfx suck extremely.
the only thing wich is fun is the fighting itself, but thats being ruined by a bad framerate/lag.
My advice:
Don't even think a second about buying this game, you could better throw your money in sea... that way shine won't get it, and whitout any money they might even stop making games mdr1 mdr1

Shiny hasnt released that much games..
And since i can't judge games whitout having played them..
In Path of Neo they even promise all kind of things they don't make true, so it was not possible to know they used that crappy engine, and had that worthless filter blurring the screen etc..

after that one everyone wanted to play as neo so they finally made that possible - thing is they forgot to make a good game for him to move around in..

yes, even though i think etm is a worthless game it is still better as path of neo
Path of Neo has a lot of bugs, and lot of people cant even start the game anymore after patching..
the game also looks like.. *negative word here, cant post any because they get starred out *

I think PoN is a better game, when playing ETM it felt like you were on rails at the time where as this one tends to have more freedom in your fighting and how you choose to take on enemies. So far I enjoy it and I enjoyed ETM aswell but that didn't have quite the same longevity.

Well, one thing is for sure, graphics suck. I was so suprised about this, i thought they could surely do better than EtM, as technology has advanced, but no.
But that's just one bad point. Gameplay is awesome i think, i'm very addicted to the game, in just a few hours! Fighting moves rock! But Focus jumping is hard for me though. I just can't get Neo to jump in focus. Which is why i'm not farther in the game than the second Morpheus challenge.
So all in all a game that would be rated 2.5/5.

about half a dozen or so attack whilst the remainder run round in circles politely waiting their turn.
you can say what you like about his meglomania, he always was the perfect gentleman that smith fella oh and always so well turned out too...

man all im hearing so far overall is that the game is **** well i feel sorry for u ppl i think the game is great the gameplay and action makes enetr the matrix look like a pile of **** as for the graphics i dont understand why u ppl are saying there **** cos its the best i have seen for a ps2 console i think your all a lil confused between E3 consoles like xbox 360 and ps3 u have to remember ppl this is ps2 and the graphics are great so plz hush any way the fighting and shooting in the game was great so who ever said its **** is just to much of a hater cos to be honest i think its the best game i played yet i had a spaz atack whean i was kicking smiths butt like fighting 10 at a tim man that part was great the staff and other melle wepons in the game are just great i realy do respect this game and ppl who said its rubish u need to sirously get a head cheak i give path of neo 10sur10 and enter the matrix a big :nono:

Great so PoN is good, well I was getting put off by some negative posts about the game but now I've been reassured that it's good. Apart from the bugs and stuff of course, which hopefully a patch will come out to fix those :) . I'll get it when it comes out here; in bloody 15 days!!! p.s, In the burley brawl; can you hold onto a pole and spin around kicking smiths? like in the movie? (please don't spoil anything for me, just that question).

Tes you can spin on a pole. and is that 1st bit scarcasam because im only giveing my opinion.
I'd say the combat in Path of Neo is more refined than Enter the Matrix, plus of course you get to play as Neo! I haven't played a huge amount so far as I figured I could wait until the patch to save manually changing the controls every time (and have other games to play too!) but the integration into and expansion of the Matrix storyline seems pretty good so far...

There's no sarcasm there, that's just the limited ability to express one's self with words. :respect:
Well PON has some very nice features that are to me very new and hard to use now but they can turn into usefull "allies" when you master the functions.
Altough I have to admit I played ETM with a Gamepad and PON now too, taking in mind that the keyboard is too hard to use on it.
For instance the camera movement, it's been a hell to start working with that,
but on the gamepad you can control it with the throttle movement.
Still I wish David Guetta (inventor of the bullet time camera motion for The Matrix) was at my side showing me the best angles all the time when playing, unfortunatly he costs a lot of money to hire...
(as a side note, he was on the cast of upcoming movie V for Vendetta together with Bob Hope, the one that realised all those cool comic style angles of shooting like the burly brawl!!! If the wack. brothers where the brains of the movies, those two where defenitly the engine of the trilogy!)

You must unlearn what you have learned. You seem to have become too dependant on game pads and not keyboards. You see I totally suck at gamepads and console controls, but I more then make up for that in my skills on a keyboard (I'm a bloody keyboard master!!!). In order to be good at a game you must first be a master at the controls, then it all gets too easy for me.

I haven't played the game yet, I'll get it at the end of this month... groan.
Can you actually fly? or just jump high? how high? and how much more power do you get then in etm? Is there like an evade button - if you just hold it down, can't you get touched by enemies?(cool if so).
You can block most moves with a single button where I' am playing it now.
The jumb goes as high as the ceiling, and you stay flooting there like a balloon,
so I suppose you will be able to fly later on!
The powers are maybe 10 times that of ETM.
The bullet dodge was already cool, but now I already stop them mid air.
Bullets can't hurt you anymore, (if you react properly!)
Im not sure but i think that niobe and ghost had bullet time but the prob with that is that Neo was the only person from zion to have the power to use bullet time so etm is a bit wrong in that way. and people complain about the bearly brawl about 6smith and the rest runing round circles but thats what happen in the film neo kicked i smith away and another jon in with the fight of course it doesnt look so chaotic in the game but that only time in the film where all the smith joined in is where that all jumped on him :atari:
