Having ordered the game and being a big matrix fan I'm looking forward to it. But having read the forums all i read is all about how bad the game is.
Can this thread be devoted to good things about the game please.

Don't know what platform you'll be playing it, ps2 is bug/lag free so no nasty distractions ;)
Cool fights - as in you look cool without going mental with uber difficult combos.

I will be playing it on PC
the pc version is one of the worst games ever.

Yes don't play on the PC if you can, at teh moment its unplayable !
Teh game is very good, some really interesting ideas in the gameplay and the storyline but noway to play on the PC keyboard (try push CTRL-SHIFT and the WQSD to move! You can't permanently change the keyboard config btw)..
Probably a fantastic game on console :(

Probably a fantastic game on console :(You still need to be quite dexterous... I've never played a game that uses all the buttons on the ps2.. (well, to be honest, I've yet to see the 'D-pad up button' being used) but
To have 3 shoulder buttons worked at the same time ("focus", "aim weapon" and "fire") and the left analogue stick (movement) then having do move your right thumb between jump-kick-evade-grab and the camera controls... eekblue:
Pure craziness... :chapeau:
If I was Zephod Bebblebrox, I'd trade that second head for another hand, or at least a spare thumb weirdblue

I don't see what everyone's problem is with the PC version. I have a terrible graphics card (ATI Radeon 9600/9700 Mobility, 64mb) and it runs perfectly for me, with a few MINOR drops in framerate in the big games (I also have a, err, Centrino or Celeron 1.6ghz processor, and 1gb of RAM).
I'd recommend a defrag to you all, and disk cleanup (that said, my HDD's like 50% fragged). Also, try running it in a window. I don't see why anyone would want to play fullscreen anyway, and you can still have psuedo-fullscreen by setting it to your screen's resolution.

i played it on the pc and finished it and i had no trouble of any kind and you can change the button configuration yourself the way you want it ( i just used arrows for movement, right-ctrl for jump, right-shift for evade, 0(ins) on numpad for focus, delete for weapon mode, End for link/action and didnt changed anything about mouse) camera was easy to get used to also and i did not had anykind of lag or whatever like that while playing (only some in the game-movie parts where you heard sounds while they in the movie still should start but not any problem while playing)
(edited)
I use a GeForce FX 5700(256 MB), pentium 4 with 2.53 GHz, 768 MB SDRam on win xp pro( only cant use detail render lvl 9 and 10 not but think that will going to be solved in some patch later on)
The free-form kung-fu is impressive, and true to the films - improved well from Enter The Matrix, and once the game is fixed, will lead to far better reception IMHO :)

Got the game and TBH I dont know what all this critism is talking about.
The game runs fine. A bug where the audio is out of sync on the in game movies but thats only happened once.
The control system is fine as it focus' on wasd movement which is always great.
Graphics are fine...havent ventured up to video setting 9 yet though. that should be fun.
Combat is great although the only bad bit i have to say is i find myself trying to pull off this move and it does another instead but im not bothered as it still looks really cool
Glad i got the game.

I haven't got the game yet, but tell me; is neo's enemies realistic? Like are they defeated with huge difficulty or little difficulty in neo's full powers? (apart from smith at the end).
Oh and just tell me if you get to play a level, like in the 2nd matrix movie, where you rescue trinity from falling?(you know where neo has to speed fly inbetween the buildings with all the cars and junk getting caught up in his trail behind him.
I think people should upgrade their pc's imho.
after I fixed the resolution/detail bug, the game looks awesome. :)
one of the better games I have played in a while.

Well, you get to fight some of the classic scenes from the movie, ie. battle 100's of agent smiths. Rescue the keymaker. Rescue Morpheus. Fight Seraph. etc.
And alot of other stuff that isn't featured in the movie and there is a surprise ending :)
The only "flying" is when you combat agent smith in mid air.

I think this game is mint. There is nothing more satisfying then kickin the livin daylights out of the agents. mdr1
The level where neo fights 100's of Agent smiths has gotta be my fav alltime game level.
Once u master the different combo's and using evade u start feeling almost god like :) i recomend this Game to any matrix fan. superg
I got the PC version only thing wrong with it is key config reseting everytime i start the game but this should be sorted out with the Patch once we get it.

the good thing about this game is that if youre a matrix fan youll fit right in. not only does it follow the story line of the films, but it also has extra parts that you dont see in the films, like the bit between the matrix and the matrix reloaded. its awesome learning all the new combos and taking on hundreds of agent smiths, and i do agree, once u get the hang of it, you do feel "godlike". im determined to do that agent smith level without getting hit once, cant do it mind you, i always get hit just after i do a multiple combo :(
