I have a similar problem. Everything has a green hue and a lot of textures are missing.
I have an ATI x700 and a 2GHz Turion processor

Any more people with the same prob?
What for a Resolution did you use?
and i think there is a problem with the Rendering. Higher than 8 and i have the same probs. Maybe you should set the Rendering lower than 8.

you've stumped me! if you guys had a lower spec pc then it would be obvious, but youre both "with the times" and so that kinda rules out graphics card issues. as far as i can tell, it sounds like a compatability issue with your cards, like the ati 9600 with half life 2's new light rendering, but as far as i know, atari should have posted a comment up about graphics card compatibility issues and i haven't seen any :S if worst comes to worst, take out the dvd, paint it yellow, and take it to the beach n use it as a frisbee ;)

for me I've lower the rendering to 8 and it works now. Atari needs to fix the video options a bit. For example seperate the video options into Texture Details, Surrounding details, e.t.c.

yeh i agree, my graphics card wont let me set it above 8 either, and i can run fear on full :S
Have you got the latest drivers for your cards? :mefiant:

yeh i update em as soon as new drivers come out..tis weird, it runs on 9 n 10 but lags a bit n i have 2 gig of ram :S

The effects in level 9 and 10 are cutting edge directX functionality, only the very latest cards can handle them properly.
I think its good that the game can support the people who've forked out for top of the range kit, but also run with a mere mortals setup. :atari:

Im running an x850 XT Platinum Edition and the Rendering wont play above 7, all the textures go black. In parts of the game textures turn white even when i have the rendering on 2. The game is badly made. Looks like atari had to rush to get it out on time for release date !!! But the gameplay cannot be faulted !!
And to top it all. I reinstalled the game today and now the camera is constantly rotating meaning i cant attack anything or run in a straight line.

are you using a gamepad?? rotating might be coz of controller issues, and graphics issues might b coz of ur drivers...sounds strange to me how an x800 can have issues with a game...i have dual x800 pros in my pc, and they run every game out there on high

I as well have som difficulties getting pon to run properly on my computer.
I've set the settings to 800x600 and the details to 1, which makes the game awful to look at while playing it, but this is unfortunately necessary if I am to play the game. And even at these lousy settings the game lacks.
My specs are the following:
Amd athlon 64processor 3400+
2gb ram
256mb ati radeon 9550
I have no idea why these specs aren't enough, I should say that I exceed the recommended specs, and I have no problem running fear or call of duty 2.
Please help.
Thanks.

thats strange... firstly:
have you made sure the matrix.cfg file isnt set to read only so wen u change the graphics settings they do change?
have you madesure your graphics drivers are all up to date and that your direct x is all working properly?
it sounds to me like your pc meets all the recommendations, so if worst comes to wost, contact atari

When it comes to drivers to my ati radeon card, I am sorry to say that I have no idea how that works. I tried to dl something called ati radeon catalyst control center but every time I press the button "look for updated drivers" I am referred to the dl page of the catalyst control center, which doesn't make much sense.

yeh thats what i have for my dual ati x800s. you have to download and install the file, it basically installs a program that can run in the background. it has fixed some of the problems i have had with some other games. if you get stuck post ur email address and il email you a walkthrough

So having that program running is a driver for my ati radeon 9550? Besides.. I tried running pon after having installed this catalyst center with no luck unfortunately..
