Your list of cars cannot be accurate as I clearly read on Atair site on Test Drive Unlimited that it will have 150 cars across 50 companies or catagories.

Hey people first post for me but I have been following this topic for a bit and I was just reading an interview on IGN.com and It says "We pulled out of our driveway in an Enzo and sped off down the twisty highway"

which I think means there might be Ferraris in the game but that interview was last year and a lot of things can happen but I hope they have got it in the game. :)

Does anyone know if Eden will be the only ones making cars for Test Drive or will they perhaps release the software so people can make the cars they want to drive. Then sell them in the game or marketplace, because originally wasnt Microsoft saying that you could design things like T-Shirts and put them on characters in games and sell them in your own shop and make money. What happened to that, so far no downloadable content for games has been released, only trailers and demos.

It's a full time job to make them and a bad car could make the game not run properly. We won't release a tool to build them because of that.. and because there is no real "tool", but a lots of different tools used during each step of making a car.

What about cars ramming people on motorcycles. To me that would be annoying because in a car you can at least regain it to where you might not spin out, but if your on a motorcycle then if a car hits you, then your going to go flying off your bike.

i think it is like an open lobby, you drive in and out of rooms but to be honest this is more of a guess as i haven't read anything on how the lobbies will work, i'm not sure whether this has actually been finalised. It looks like a 1000 or so gamers get dropped onto the island and as they drive around they will see new people but only 16 at a time, i am a bit confused though as you can meet up with people at one stop i.e. car clubs etc., so maybe if you park up somewhere and request people to join that creates a room, but i'm not really sure

Imagine there are 10,000 driver on the island at the same time. It would be impossible to see em all on the road at the same time.

So, the game always show you the folks closest of you that match various filters you can set as you want.
And because all those folks you are able to see are moving too, the list of closest folks is changing all the time for you and for other people.
So, while driving, you will see different player around you, just not all of them at the same time but if you follow someone you will stay together.
You can also lock yourself with the other to be sure that even if you are driving in different part of the island, you will always be together and tha game won't show you the closest folks matching your filter in that case (usefull for friends for example).
There is also the clubs & the drivin that act like private and public lobby sorta. You can set up rides / race with folks with you in those lobby thingy.

It would be very cool if the Devs made it so that not ALL cars are in a showroom all the time, but that the cars change from time to time So that you cant be sure to get the car you want right away. Maybe they have it on the showroom floor, and maybe they dont. But then you can order it home?

The difference between the CCR and the CCX, beside from the looks, is that they have modified the CCX for the US-market. It can now also, after a few changes with the engine, be driven on ethanol. How fun does that sound you think. But the nice thing about that is that the power can be changed from 806 bhp to 900 bhp!!! :wink2:
