I've seen a lot of people having problems with their keyboards - although the FAQ claims the action sequences are as easy as pie that's not the case for some people. And I was one of them - you wouldn't think pressing left and right alternating should be too hard ... makes you feel stupid doesn't it?
Well I stopped feeling stupid and tried to resolve the problem myself. I'm playing the game on a laptop so I thought maybe it works with an external keyboard ... got one, tried again, no improvement.
So I started killing certain (non-important) processes before playing the game and guess what, it is as easy as pie if you find kill correct one!
In my case it was (reproducably)
"C:\Programme\Home Cinema\PowerCinema\PCMService.exe",
a part of the Power Cinema Suite from Cyberlink that came preinstalled with my laptop. Kill the process and everything is fine ...
In the hope that this can be useful for other people too ... please reply to this thread if you resolved the problem in similar way, thanks :)
