View Full Version : What an amazing game....
What an amazing game! I've played sooooo many racings. And really always only the best. But TDU seems to be the most fascinating game I've ever seen. There is no better in the world. All people will like it! I know it, you know it, everybody knows it, there was and will be never again a better game than TDU! :-)

Same here, never bothered to come onto forum but the whole thing looks mint, one thing still i'm unsure about, at first people were saying it was going to be an MMO style of online game. Atari hosted 1,000 people servers, then I heard 500. Now i'm hearing it's a RPG where you host up to 16 people. Can someone clear this up for me :hin:
I dont understand how you can say its going to be so amazing and so on. Only thing we know so far is the idea is great, graphics are great, and loads to do but what about the driving part? If its anything like the other test drive games i dont think i will like it as the game is made out to be a simulator but is the cars going to handle as well as there ideas? I really hope it lives up to the name its got now and does not let us down come the day of release because i am going to preorder mine on just what i have seen so far...I also hope they release a demo some time soon.

I sort of know what your saying, now i'm going back really far but back in the days on Playstation 1 I went to blockbuster and rented Test Drive 7 I think it was. It was utter horse ****, cars were square (GT2 at time was much better), driving physics was horrible, game story was terrible. TBH i'm not to bothered about how the cars drive, I was one of the first people on xbox live and when I first player MM3 online it gave me a experience that I haven't had on any online game since. That WoW feeling, i'm sure TDU will deliver this. The cars on MM3 handling was no where near realistic but it was a fun enjoyable game. Explore the map, do crazy things. For me it will be one of them games where when I cannot be bothered to be competitive on Counterstrike or PGR3 or TW2006 and can chill on TDU.

Yes, I think it could be that type of game too. I've read the online aspect being jokingly referred to as an MMOCarPG, and I think that's a valid assumption. I mean, everyone won't be racing competitively at the same time. Although, I also read, thankfully, that you would actually see a selection of racers (rather than the whole online community, at once  ) so there's sure to be plenty of asphalt available for activities to suit many tastes. :)
